Bowling Green Farm has been owned and operated by the Jones Family since 1743. We are a 10th-generation farm located in Howard County, Maryland. We were in the dairy business from the 1930s until 2019. In 2019, due to changing times and health benefits, we transitioned our farm to Grass Fed Beef.

Our cattle are 100% Grass-Fed. We use rotational grazing to ensure that they receive fresh nutritional grass. Our cattle have access to 400 acres of pastures. We rotate them every morning. They graze on grass variants such as orchard, fescue, and Italian Reye. In the winter, when grazing is unavailable, we provide our cattle with hay. We produce our own hay which includes Orchard, Timothy, and Alfalfa.

Our mission is to provide quality beef products to our community and to create opportunities for our children on the farm.
