MEDISOLV TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR NATIONAL PATIENT SAFETY AND QUALITY INITIATIVES BY THE NATIONAL QUALITY FORUM

Columbia, MD (April 27, 2010) - Medisolv, Inc., a graduate of The Center for Business and Technology Development’s NeoTech Incubator, was recently accepted as a member of the National Quality Forum (NQF) where it will actively participate in all of NQF’s quality and patient safety research activities.

Medisolv is the market leader in Business Intelligence, Decision Support and Quality Reporting Solutions for hospitals and healthcare systems.

“We are honored to participate in shaping the future as a member of the NQF’s Quality Measurement, Research and Improvement (QMRI) Council,” said Dr. Zahid Butt, Medisolv’s CEO. “Participation in the NQF will permit us to share the lessons learned from the development and deployment of our Business Intelligence, Decision Support and Quality reporting solutions in hospitals across the country.

“It will also ensure that we have a deep understanding of the intent and details of future regulatory requirements for health system quality reporting, enabling us to continue to lead the way as a value added vendor to MEDITECH empowered hospitals,” added Butt.

“Medisolv has a strong track record of thought leadership in hospital business intelligence systems.  This new membership will allow Dr. Butt and his team to further participate in, and influence the development of work in this field,” noted Linda Burger, Senior Vice President at the Center for Business and Technology Development.
