HEALTH ANALYTICS HOSTS RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY
Columbia, MD (July 1, 2010) – Recent NeoTech Incubator graduate, Health Analytics, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house, Wednesday, June 16 at 11 a.m. at its new location on Rumsey Road in Columbia, MD.
Health Analytics is a healthcare intelligence firm that conducts and interprets scientific studies to improve healthcare outcomes, provide valuable business insights, and enhance business profitability. Howard County’s Center for Business and Technology Development’s NeoTech Incubator fostered the company from 2007 until their March 2010 graduation.
“We are proud to have accomplished so much with the support of the NeoTech Incubator and the people who have stood by Health Analytics over the past several years,” said Dr. Charles Ruetsch, President and CSO of Health Analytics. “NeoTech has been essential in providing us the resources and support we need to grow our business.”
Ken Ulman, Howard County Executive, Dick Story, CEO, Economic Development Authority, and Larry Collins, Executive Director, Howard Technology Council, gave remarks regarding Health Analytics, and assisted in the ribbon-cutting marking the company’s milestone achievement.
"Health Analytics' mission to provide health care decision makers resources to overcome business challenges exemplifies the county's diligence to cultivate innovative knowledge and resources in order to support our community," said Ken Ulman, County Executive.
“The Authority’s Center for Business and Technology Development, with its NeoTech Incubator program, is dedicated to accelerating the development of emerging technology companies,” said Story. “We are pleased to have helped launch another thriving community business.”
Another success story for the local business community, this emerging business venture in the field of translational science started with a mere 2 employees in 2005 and has since grown to a team of 14 employees. The flourishing company is a testament to the resources and support offered through the Center’s NeoTech Incubator and Howard County’s dynamic, entrepreneurial climate.
