The Howard County Film "Feastival" will serve as the kick off to Howard County’s Farm2Table Restaurant Weeks (July 26 thru August 8), the annual food extravaganza when Howard County’s finest restaurants incorporate locally grown products to serve scrumptious farm fresh meals at discounted prices. It also takes place during Maryland Department of Agriculture’s “Buy Local Challenge Week,” July 17-25, when Marylanders are asked to eat at least one locally grown product each day. This event will educate residents of the community about the importance of eating locally grown food products, not only for health benefits but also for environmental and economical reasons as well. |

About Clark’s Elioak Farm: Martha Clark and her daughter, Nora Crist, are currently raising the grass-fed beef for purchase at the Clark's Elioak Farm castle entrance store 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday. They use natural sustainable farming practices where their animals have access to over 110 acres of pasture. Grazing on open pasture helps with the general health of the animal. Clark's farm also offers a roadside vegetable stand on Route 108 (across from Iron Bridge Wine Company) starting daily from July 1st through September 6th, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm for farm-fresh sweet corn, tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, berries and much more.
