  • Howard County Economic Development Authority Strategic Plan 2006
The Strategic Plan for Economic Development was developed by a diverse committee comprised of representatives from local, regional and state government agencies, the private sector, education and community organizations. The Strategic Plan, released in 2006, evaluates our strengths and challenges and outlines themes upon which to focus the Authority''s efforts. The five year plan stresses the importance of developing regional partnerships, with an emphasis on the Authority’s role. The other areas of focus are economic reinvestment in previously developed areas, strengthening our knowledge community and the importance of entrepreneurship.
