The Howard County Economic Development Authority cordially invites you to attend the 17th Annual Committee for Business and Economic Diversity Business Recognition Program, "Celebrating Business Diversity," on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, 7:30  - 9:00 a.m. The program will be held at the Sheraton Columbia, 10207 Wincopin Circle, Columbia, Maryland.

Don't miss this exciting event featuring keynote speaker, Dr. David A. Anderson, nationally syndicated radio talk show host, Founder and President of the Bridge Leader Network, and Founder and Senior Pastor of Bridgeway Community Church. 

Dr. David Anderson is founder and President of the BridgeLeader Network (BLN), diversity consulting firm. Dr. Anderson is the founder and senior pastor of Bridgeway Community Church, a multicultural congregation of over 2500 weekly attendees, located in Columbia, Maryland. Anderson is a bridge-building voice in the Nation's Capital as a radio talk show host on his daily program "Afternoons with Dr. David Anderson" on WAVA (105.1 FM). Wherever there is a divide, Anderson seeks to build a bridge through relevant and intelligent conversation.

Dr. Anderson is a published author of several books on race and diversity. His newest book called "Gracism: The Art of Inclusion" has won awards for best cover design and an award of merit from Christianity Today.

CBED hosted the 16th Annual CBED Business Recognition Breakfast Program on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. at the Sheraton Columbia, Columbia, MD. The annual program recognizes outstanding business leaders in the Howard County community and their achievements in the area of equal business opportunity. The program was also the venue for awarding two scholarships: Howard County General Hospital Rising Business Star Scholarship and the Howard County Chamber of Commerce Earl H. Saunders Entrepreneurial Scholarship.
