RECOGNITION PROGRAM

CBED logoCBED will host the 16th Annual CBED Business Recognition Breakfast Program on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. at the Sheraton Columbia, Columbia, MD. The annual program recognizes outstanding business leaders in the Howard County community and their achievements in the area of equal business opportunity. The program also is the venue for awarding two scholarships: Howard County General Hospital Rising Business Star Scholarship and the Howard County Chamber of Commerce Earl H. Saunders Entrepreneurial Scholarship.

2009 CBED Award Honorees:  Stanley Crump, Owner, Ellicott City Fitness and Karate (Recipient of Individual Achievement CBED Award); John M. Kane, President and CEO, The Kane Company (Recipient of the Business Diversity Achievement CBED Award); Matthew Erlandson, Wilde Lake High School - Matt's Lawn Care (Recipient of Howard County General Hositpal Rising Business Star Scholarship), Shara Patty Darden, Studio Inspire (Recipient of the Business Achievement CBED Award); and Earl H. Saunders, Chair, CBED Cmte.
