Hundreds of Government and Academic Research and Development institutions are located in the region, ready and willing to partner with Industry.

Featuring Keynote Speaker Rohit K. Shukla, CEO of the Larta Institute, this program highlights Federal Government Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant programs and other, complementary funding programs promoting entrepreneurship and technology development and commercialization in Maryland. The SBIR program for the National Institutes of Health has nearly $750M available this year exclusively for small businesses to perform innovative research and R&D in the biomedical/behavioral sciences.
