Freshly Opens New Facility In Howard County

SAVAGE – Today, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball and the Howard County Economic Development Authority attended a ribbon cutting for a new facility for Freshly, a health-conscious food delivery service. The new 171,000 square-foot facility is located at Bollman Place in Savage and serve as the company’s East Coast location for food preparation, cooking, assembly, and distribution. Freshly has spent over $25 Million on this new facility and currently employs 500 workers, with plans to hire significantly more. The opening of Freshly’s East Coast facility serves as a testament to the company’s significant growth in the last four years, taking the operation from servicing 28 states to now delivering meals to the entire contiguous United States.

“This ribbon cutting marks the beginning of a new chapter for Freshly and for our community. We look forward to increased access to fresh food, more job opportunities in Howard County, and a stronger local economy,” said Ball. “I also want to thank Howard County Economic Development Authority for working with Freshly to help us make this new facility a reality.”
