HCEDA hosts the County Executive’s Tech Leaders Breakfast at the Innovation Center

On Monday, December 9th, HCEDA hosted the County Executive’s Tech Leaders Breakfast at the Innovation Center to provide C-level Howard County leaders an open forum to share opportunities and challenges faced within the tech community. The program began with County Executive Calvin Ball’s announcement of a new, tech-focused newsletter concentrating on the region’s innovation and technology R&D, technology growth, and local company highlights. Following this, an open discussion provided technology leaders an opportunity to engage directly with County Executive Ball and his Administration, and with industry peers around topics such as real estate and workforce. Attendees also discussed ways in which their businesses can interact with the County through the Department of Purchasing.  HCEDA provided information on how to best engage with the Innovation Center in a meaningful way through events and programs. The event concluded with networking and tours of the newly renovated Innovation Center.
