Conscious Venture Lab (CVLab) the Accelerator of the David B. Wolfe Institute for Conscious Entrepreneurship, in partnership with the Howard County Economic Development Authority (HCEDA), today announced the selection of its second cohort of companies for the curriculum and mentor-driven accelerator program.

Annie’s Project Produces New Farmers

The Howard County Economic Development Authority (HCEDA) and the University of Maryland Extension-Howard County are recruiting for the 2015 class of Annie’s Project. The program focuses on the many aspects of farm management and is designed to empower women in overall farm decision making and to build local networks throughout the state.

County Executive Ulman Announces that Ellicott City Has Been Named Main Street Maryland Community

Howard County Executive Ken Ulman today announced that Ellicott City has been designated a Main Street Maryland Community, making it eligible for financial and planning resources from the State of Maryland. The designation was announced by Maryland Department of House and Community Development Acting Secretary Clarence Snuggs during a ceremony at the Howard County Welcome Center.

Howard County Economic Development Authority Expands Role of Tech Council Executive Director

Howard County Economic Development Authority (HCEDA) Chief Executive Officer Lawrence F. Twele announced today that Patrick Wynn, Executive Director for the Howard Tech Council (HTC), has been named Vice President for Technology Strategy and Business Development.
