DataTech911, Serving First Responders Across the Nation

Monday, June 24, 2019

Howard County Economic Development (HCEDA) incubator client, DataTech911, expands their support of first responders across the nation with their cutting-edge technology, FirstResponse911. Recently, DataTech911 added the following Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) to their portfolio: Dakota Communications Center (Minnesota), City of Smyrna (Georgia), Chilton County (Alabama), and Blount County (Alabama). In addition to the PSAPs, DataTech911 has extended their services to the following transport/ambulance providers: Regional Paramedical Services (Alabama) and Fairview/HealthEast (Minnesota).

FirstResponse911 supports first responders by automatically forwarding 9-1-1 incident data from the PSAP to a transport/ambulance company, so that 9-1-1 telecommunicators can address the 9-1-1 caller’s needs more efficiently. This automatic, information-sharing technology improves response times and eliminates human errors incurred by manual incident data entry, mistaken addresses, and forgotten critical information.

FirstResponse911 customers have described DataTech911’s technology as a “game changer,” just as DataTech911 considers their residency at the HCEDA’s incubator space a game changer in their professional development.

“The HCEDA has supported us by providing an adequate, fully-equipped co-working space that includes a variety of resources to help entrepreneurs launch and grow their business,” said DataTech911 Managing Member, Michael Salonish. “We have leaned heavily on these resources to focus our efforts and build our sales pipeline.”

“Our mission has always been to cultivate innovation and serve our business community with a robust list of resources,” said HCEDA CEO, Lawrence Twele. “We’re very grateful for companies like DataTech911 for choosing Howard County as a host for their innovation.”
